del siglo XII, ya que las casas de este pueblo situado entre el sansouire y la laguna no tienen m\u00e1s de una planta. <br \/>En verano, Les Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer acoge a numerosos turistas que vienen a disfrutar de sus playas y encantadoras callejuelas. Tambi\u00e9n puede visitar la cripta o admirar las vistas desde la azotea de la iglesia.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>El pueblo de Les Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer tambi\u00e9n es conocido como un lugar de peregrinaci\u00f3n clave para la cultura gitana. Cada 25 de mayo, m\u00e1s de 10.000 gitanos de todo el mundo acuden a venerar a Santa Sara-la-Noire, o Sara-la-kali, y a bautizar a sus hijos seg\u00fan el ritual cat\u00f3lico. <br \/>Para las fiestas, las tradiciones camarguesas cobran protagonismo con un encierro de los gardians.
